4 Reasons to Find Religion

The late David Foster Wallace said that all men are religious, the only choice is what to worship. In the year 2021, this insight is so commonplace as to be boring. Science is the new religion. The woke movement is a decadent Christianity blah blah blah.
Everyone knows this, but they don’t take it seriously. If everyone has to worship, then it means that *YOU* have to. Perhaps then you should put some thought into finding something worthy of your veneration. If I may be so bold, might I suggest God.
God is Good for Society
Hopefully you are in the right frame of mind as you read this. Maybe you’re already sold on the utility of religion. In the abstract of course. You see that God is good for society, and that western decline perfectly mirrors our decline in worship. You’ve read Nietzsche. You see how happy the Mormons seem. You feel the abyss of meaninglessness overtaking us all, but don’t yet have the courage to face it. In fact, if you ignore it, this abyss actually feels pretty far away. This is pure cope, but then again, isn’t everything?
